Receptionist and Medical Secretary
Rhiannon joined Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre in July 2015. In addition to working within the reception team, Rhiannon also spends part of her working week as a Medical Secretary.
Natalia Joined the team as a Apprentice Receptionist in 2016. Natalia completed her apprenticeship in June 2017 and joined the team as a fully trained Receptionist.
Dr Catherine Richards
Dr Richards qualified as a doctor in 1987 and worked as a doctor in Public Health before becoming a GP in 2006 when she also joined the team at Kirkstall Lane. Dr Richards is now our Senior GP Partner as well as our lead GP for prescribing and Medicines Management.
Dr Keith Miller
Dr Miller qualified as a doctor in 2005, and completed his junior doctor training placements around Leeds and Mid-Yorkshire, before completing his GP training in 2010 at Kirstall Lane Medical centre. He worked here as a GP after qualification, and then became a Partner in the practice in January 2012, after a short spell travelling abroad. Dr Miller is our lead GP for older people's care and for people living in care homes. He is also the GP trainer in the practice, supervising our trainee GPs during their placements with us.
Dr Rob Chauhan
Dr Chauhan qualified as a doctor from the University of Leeds School of Medicine in 2009 and entered GP training in 2011. Dr Chauhan completed his final year of GP training at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre qualifying in August 2014. Dr Chauhan stayed with the team as a GP until being made a GP Partner in April 2017. Dr Chauhan is our lead GP for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
Dr Alison Gale
Dr Gale qualified as a doctor in 2001 and entered GP training in 2008. Dr Gale completed her final year of GP training at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre qualifying as a GP in 2011. Dr Gale rejoined the team as a salaried GP in 2013.
Dr Adam Gorrie
Dr Gorrie qualified as a doctor in 2009 and entered GP training in 2014. Dr Gorrie is completed his final year of GP training at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre and joined the team as a fully qualified GP in August 2017.
Simon joined the team as our Practice Manager in the summer of 2012. Previous to joining the team Simon worked as a Dental Practice Manager and as the Dental Advice Line Coordinator for NHS Leeds. Since Autumn 2016, Simon works part-time as our practice manager and spends the remainder of his working week as a service manager for the Leeds West Primary Care Network.
Leigh qualified as a nurse in 1992 from York and Scarborough school of nursing. After qualifying Leigh worked in a surgical urology ward for 2 years before moving to London where she worked as a school nurse. In 1998 moved back to Leeds and after 4 years working in the Intensive Care Unit at St James' Hospital Leigh joined the team at Kirkstall Lane as Practice Nurse in 2002.
Jessica qualified as a Nurse in 2002 and went on to work in cardiology and then in Accident and Emergency in both St James' Hospital and the Leeds General Infirmary. Jessica also worked as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner treating Minor Injuries during her time in A&E. Jessica joined the practice in summer 2014 as part of a planned move to working in General Practice.
Becky has been a receptionist at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre since July 2014.
Bernie has been a receptionist at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre since September 2015.
