Dr David McCollum

General Practitioner - Male

Dr McCollum completed his training at The University of Manchester in 2012. He moved to Leeds with his family in 2014, completing his GP training in 2017 and joining the practice as a Partner in August 2020. He is a GP Trainer, supervising the trainee GPs at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre.

As well as his involvement in training others, Dr McCollum is interested in caring for patients with musculoskeletal problems and looking after those struggling with their mental health, with an emphasis on lifestyle medicine.

Dr McCollum enjoys running, cycling and playing hockey as well as keeping busy looking after his young children.

Rhiannon Hardwick

Receptionist and Medical Secretary - Female

Rhiannon is our current receptionist and medical secretary. A key member at our practice.

Dr Catherine Richards

General Practitioner - Female

Dr Richards qualified as a doctor in 1987 and worked as a doctor in Public Health before becoming a GP in 2006 when she also joined the team at Kirkstall Lane.

Dr Richards is now our Senior GP Partner as well as our lead GP for prescribing and Medicines Management.  She is also the practice lead GP for Cardiovascular Disease and is the Named GP for Halcyon Court Care Home.

Dr Rob Chauhan

General Practitioner - Male

Dr Chauhan qualified as a doctor from the University of Leeds School of Medicine in 2009 and entered GP training in 2011. He finished his GP training at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre in August 2014 and having stayed on since then became GP Partner in April 2017.

Dr Chauhan is the lead GP for Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults.  He is also the practice Diabetes Lead and the Named GP for Headingley Nursing Home.

Evie King

Practice Manager - Female

Evie Joined the team as a receptionist in 2014 and worked within our reception team until being appointed as Reception Team Leader in the summer of 2015. This stint was short lived as Evie was appointed as Patient Services Manager in 2016. In May 2019 Evie was appointed Practice Manager, Evie is the first point of contact for all patient queries, comments or complaints that require the attention of the management team.

Nosheen Khan

Healthcare Assistant - Female

Nosheen joined the team as a receptionist in 2005 and worked in our reception team whilst training as a Phlebotomist and then as a Health Care Assistant qualifying in summer 2016. Nosheen now works as our full-time Healthcare Assistant.

Beverley Hilton

Clinical Care Coordinator - Female

Beverley joined the team in 2001 as a receptionist and went on to train as a Phlebotomist and then as a Health Care Assistant qualifying in 2009. Beverley was appointed as our Clinical Care Coordinator in 2015 and coordinates the care we provide to our patients with complex health care needs.

Ann Bertram

Summariser - Female

Ann Bertram Joined us in 2011 and has been working as an Administrator in General Practice since 2000. Ann works as our medical records summariser and ensures that patients records are accurate and up to date when they join and leave the practice.

Leigh McDermott

Practice Nurse - Female

Leigh qualified as a nurse in 1992 from York and Scarborough school of nursing. After qualifying Leigh worked in a surgical urology ward for 2 years before moving to London where she worked as a school nurse. In 1998 moved back to Leeds and after 4 years working in the Intensive Care Unit at St James’ Hospital Leigh joined the team at Kirkstall Lane as Practice Nurse in 2002.

Jessica Jones

Practice Nurse - Female

Jessica qualified as a Nurse in 2002 and went on to work in cardiology and then in Accident and Emergency in both St James’ Hospital and the Leeds General Infirmary. Jessica also worked as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner treating Minor Injuries during her time in A&E. Jessica joined the practice in summer 2014 as part of a planned move to working in General Practice.
