Goodbye from Dr Miller

After 11 years working as a GP at Kirkstall Lane, I shall be leaving the practice at the end of July.

As a family, we are planning to move out of the area and I am taking up a new position in a practice nearer by.  It has been a privilege to be a partner at Kirkstall Lane Medical Centre, and I have seen a lot of comings and goings.  I will always be really proud of the outstanding rating we received in 2016 for care we provided.

The last few years have been much more difficult as the healthcare climate has become more challenging, but we have steered our way through the worst of that and hopefully have managed to maintain a good service to you.  The last six months have tested us in completely new ways and I am really proud of how the whole team has rapidly adapted to all the demands and changes in working patterns, most of which would have been unimaginable at the start of the year.

It has been a pleasure to work with everyone at Kirkstall Lane, because of their resilience, dedication, professionalism, and endless good humour.  I will miss them all as colleagues and as friends, and know they will keep providing you with the very best care.  The future is bright with this team and some fantastic new doctors arriving ready to make the practice even better.

It has been an honour over the last decade to have met and come to know many of you as people and patients registered at Kirkstall Lane. I wish you all good health and happiness for the future.

Sorry that I was usually running behind and keeping you waiting for your appointments!

Best wishes,

Dr Keith Miller
